So many times through life we lose teeth to decay. And some of the interesting studies that we’ve seen is after the age of 65, decay rate is actually almost as bad as a teenager that never had fluoridated water. And so sometimes we lose these teeth even though the best of intentions, the best restorative care, we sometimes lose these teeth. So when I consider a full mouth reconstruction, it can be the All-on-4 procedure, or “Hey, I’m missing four teeth just here and there, and we’re going to replace them.” And that way we can restore functionality, and we go back to the three F’s in life, friends, food and family. If I can eat with my friends and family, I’m going to have a good life.
