Dr. Lisa Wentz Delivered Exceptional Service to the West Texas Panhandle for Many Years

Happy retirement to Dr. Lisa Wentz, who is thankful to live in the South Plains and to be part of this wonderful community. She considers it an honor and privilege to serve the patients of this area, and she works to meet the needs and expectations of each one. Delivering exceptional service in a caring and comfortable atmosphere is her goal. She makes each patient feel welcome as they receive the most up-to-date periodontal therapy.

Dr. Wentz attended Nicholls State University in Louisiana where she received her bachelor’s degree in biology. She continued her education at Louisiana State University earning her Doctorate of Dental Surgery and completing her specialty training in periodontics.

Dr. Wentz is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology. Her other professional memberships include:

• Texas Society of Periodontists
• American Dental Association
• Texas Dental Association
• South Plains District Dental Society

She has served in many offices for the South Plains District Dental Society, including past president. Dr. Wentz has lectured to dental colleagues, as well as the medical community, on periodontal plastic surgery and the links between periodontal disease and systemic diseases.

Dr. Wentz’s husband, Dr. Ed Wentz, and her sister-in-law, Dr. Holly Reeves, are both orthodontists. She and her husband are blessed with four fantastic children and proud to be grandparents as well! She enjoys spending time with her family, running, cooking, and being outdoors.
